COVID-19
The Everything’s Relational Retreat has been redesigned with the coronavirus in mind. It is our goal to create an environment that delivers everything we originally set out to while ensuring the safety of all participants and facilitators. To do so, everyone must submit proof of a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of the arrival day of the retreat. Not doing so will result in a mandatory 10-day quarantine. This policy is put in place by the state of Hawaii. Should there be any changes to requirements for travel or entry into the state, we will update this page accordingly.
Travel Insurance
Due to Covid-19, to join the retreat you must provide proof of purchasing travel insurance (Travel insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans).
Please be sure that your insurance policy covers:

- Hiking, swimming, etc
- Being in close proximity to an active volcano
- Attendee cancellation
- Retreat cancellation
With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. World Nomads covers all the activities during the Hawai’i Everything’s Relational Retreat.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation for any reason will result in a total loss of the $500 USD deposit.
If you cancel, Everything’s Relational Retreat does not offer refunds for any reason. A portion of your payment may be used as credit toward another retreat to be taken within one year of your original retreat date. Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties may apply.
Cancellation Penalties
If cancellation occurs:

- 90 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another retreat to be used within one calendar year
- Between 60 – 89 days before your retreat start date, 75% of your payment may be applied to another retreat to be used within one calendar year. You will forfeit the remaining 25%
- Between 15 – 59 days before your retreat start date, 40% of your payment may be applied to another retreat to be used within one calendar year. You will forfeit the remaining 60%
- 14 days or less prior to your retreat start date, you forfeit the entire payment
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed Participant Agreement form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to the retreat start date, whichever comes first. Guests who fail to do so may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.

COVID-19 Policy
Rescheduling the Everything’s Relational Retreat will be determined by Jen and Julie based on travel restrictions advised by the state of Hawaii, the CDC, and the WHO. If this happens (we are setting the intention that everything is working out for the highest good of those involved) we will work together to determine a convenient date to reschedule and your deposit will be applied.
*If you are quarantined due to having the Covid-19 virus and are advised by a doctor not to travel, or are unable to travel due to Covid-19 related restrictions, then your monies will be applied to a future retreat within one year of your original retreat date.

- Pre-trip group preparation call
- Pleasurable (and safe) accommodations to be determined
- Entrance fees to all sites we visit and events/activities
- Welcome dinner held Thursday, September 23rd; arrival day
- 2 meals per day September 24th – September 27th; they may be breakfast, lunch, or dinner
- Farewell brunch, held Tuesday, September 28th; the morning of departure
- Transportation to all scheduled sites and events during your stay

What’s not included:

- Transportation from, and to the KOA airport
- Transportation to or from activities during free time
- 1 meal per day; either breakfast, lunch, or dinner September 24th – September 27th
- Other non-included items such as souvenir shopping, personal phone calls, Uber/Lyft/taxi, laundry, hotel incidentals, and alcohol
- Personal, medical, or retreat insurance
